About The Artist
Saar Herut Sition (1996) is a multidisciplinary video artist and producer of queer cultural events. A graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Screen Based Arts. Their work primarily focuses on issues of identity, class, gender, queer culture, and Middle Eastern Jewish heritage.
Saar is the founder and artistic director of the Queer Film Festival in Jerusalem.

We specialize in activism-driven collaborations between NGOs and queer-focused businesses, most notably producing the Queer Film Festival Jerusalem (QFFJLM). From international partnerships with the German ‘Willy Brandt Center for Peace’ to local grassroots initiatives, backed by Jerusalem’s ‘Open House for Pride and Tolerance’, our work is dedicated to providing a platform for silenced voices, from the Trans*-Queer spectrum to Palestinian and Mizrahi creators, ensuring authentic representation through professional excellence.
